Tamworth Swift River Regatta

The Arts Council of Tamworth’s Swift River Regatta brings together kids of all ages in a friendly competition that’s a great spectator event. Competitors will customize and decorate a 9” pine wooden model sailboat and compete for cash and other prizes in the Swift River course that passes through the center of town. In addition, ACT hosts a free “Paint Your Boat” workshop prior to race day.

The 2026 Tamworth Swift River Regatta will be held on Saturday, May 30th, and the 2026 “Paint Your Boat” workshop will be held on Sunday, May 17th.
